Finisterre - The End

Finisterre - The End

Finisterre—the end.

I have walked from Saint-Jean Pied de Port all the way to Finisterre, walked approximately 550 miles, covered roughly half a million steps, crossed two countries, several regions, mountains, vineyards, plains, forests, and finally reached the Atlantic Ocean.

I walked out to the Faro de Fisterra this morning.

It was like stepping to the end of the world and a fitting way to end this trek.

This has become more than a hike or a trip. It has been a purposeful journey. I am sad to see it end but happy to be going home.

Thank you all for following along with me. Your texts and comments and encouragement have kept me going more than you can imagine. I love and appreciate all of you.

For the last time…
