Today was 18.8 miles. Not nearly as challenging as yesterday—no extreme nonstop incline or treacherous downhill—but challenging enough in its own right, with plenty of ups and downs along the way. A peaceful walk, though, with beautiful scenery and lots of very big horses that seem to be everywhere here.

I'm staying in my first albergue tonight and just finished the communal dinner. It's definitely a different way to experience the Camino. The atmosphere is fun—you're sitting at a long table where pretty much everyone is speaking a different language, so it's definitely interesting.

Tomorrow will be an easy day to Pamplona. Only about 12 miles, which sounds easy compared to the last two days.

Buen Camino!
